Mitch Gainforth Broker-In-Charge

Born and raised on the Grand Strand, I began my real estate career while attending Coastal Carolina University. Early in my career, I found myself navigating the challenges of the 2006–2009 market downturn. It was a difficult market, but an invaluable learning experience that taught me how important honest guidance, clear communication, and strong relationships are—especially when the market is uncertain.

Over the past 20 years, I have closed more than 1,200 properties totaling over $125 million in sales. Today, I serve as the Broker-in-Charge and Owner of Gainforth Real Estate, bringing that experience and local knowledge directly to the clients I represent.

For me, real estate has always been about more than the transaction. Service, communication, and personal responsibility are the foundation of how I do business. When you hire me, I remain personally involved from our first conversation through closing, so you always know who you are working with and who is responsible for helping you move forward.

I also believe providing exceptional service requires balance and discipline. My family is an important part of my life, which is why I maintain structured office hours and a focused schedule. That allows me to be fully present in both areas of my life—and to give my clients the attention, preparation, and communication they deserve when I am working on their behalf.

My husband and I started our company because we wanted to give people the kind of personal service we would want for our own family.

We have both been in real estate for over 20 years, and one thing we have learned is that no two transactions are ever the same. I love the details, and I am never afraid of questions. If I do not know the answer, I will find it. There is always something new to learn or something to work through, and I genuinely enjoy that part of real estate.

I handle the administrative side of our business and work alongside my husband to make sure our clients are supported and that the details do not get overlooked.

Outside of real estate, I am a mom to two wonderful boys, and our family stays busy with sports, church, family, and everything in between.
